We know New York City can throw a parade like no other, but did you know they throw the biggest parade in the world for St. Paddy’s Day?
The parade, which lasts more than six hours, does not allow floats or cars. This is a foot marching parade only led by a military unit.
Fun fact: The tradition began in 1762 by homesick Irishmen in the British Army.
