The Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is the home to beautiful wildflowers, but coming across at the state park is not that easy. The delicate flowers tend to shrivel and dry out if it rains excessively.
Even excessive heat can cause the flowers to die. Visitors making plans to visit the state park should drive along the dirt road to see an abundance of flowers such as prickly poppies, yellow hair suncaps, heart-leaved primrose, climbing milkweed, and several more.
The best time to visit the park is from February to April.
