The Eshima Ohasi Bridge isn’t the longest or highest bridge in the world, but it’s definitely one of the most terrifying structures we’ve ever seen. Rather than extending above the ground in a horizontal manner, the Eshima Ohasi Bridge is vertical. It has a gradient of 5.1 percent on one side and 6.1 percent on the other.
The bridge, which is located in Western Japan, is referred to as “the roller coaster bridge” by folks who have braved its steep slope.
