The Reed Flute Cave Lake is one of the oldest and most picturesque natural lakes in the world. It was discovered in 192 A.D. and is situated in Guilin, China, where tourists from all around the world come to visit it. It has been estimated that the lake is around 180 million years old!
Nowadays, the lake has got artificial colored lights installed, which enhances the visual spectacle for tourists who come to see it. There is a special type of reed that grows outside of the cave, which is used to create flutes. That is the reason why it has been named as the Reed Flute Cave Lake.
