The Karakoram Highway in Pakistan is also known as the “Friendship Highway” by the Pak-China government. The highway has the privilege of being the highest paved international road in the world. It passes through the Khunjerab Pass and is at a height of 4,693 meters. What makes Highway dangerous is the terrain, as the roads are generally slippery due to the snow and the threat of land sliding is always hanging over the head of drivers.
