New Zealand is home to some of the most stunning scenery in the world and it has got one of the world’s most beautiful natural lakes as well. It has none other than the glacial lake, named Lake Matheson, which is surrounded by Mount Cook and Mount Tasman.
The glacial lake actually came into existence around 14,000 years ago and is now home to water birds, eels, fauna and flora of all kinds. Red and White Pine trees surround the lake, which is one of New Zealand’s most popular tourists spots.
