The Maroon Bells is stretched over 12 miles and is a dangerous area as the terrain consists of gullies, rock fields, and steep paths, which has resulted in several deaths. The trail gets harder as you start walking towards the east slope, which is elevated at a height of 11,000 feet. Eight people have already died in the area, which is why the locals refer to it as “The Deadly Bells.” Only visit the area if you are an expert hiker.
